Photos should tell your love story years later.
Think of me as a creative director in our shoots. I won't tell you to just stand there and put your arm here, look there. That causes static, awkward poses that you could have gotten by handing a bystander your iPhone. Instead, I'll marry a vision we have with the little things you do that make you and your love unique. I'll PROMPT you instead of posing you. I will, of course, give feedback and change things up if they aren't working, but the goal is for our shoot to feel as fun, easy and natural as it can.
There are definitely moments, family shots at a wedding for example, that are more posed but for the rest of it, I look for candid emotions, details and movement to really tell the story.
