My favorite ways to achieve this look are asymmetrical bouquets of wildflowers and huge bouquets in a rainbow ombre style or giving a palette to your bridal party instead of single color to have fun with! Bold colors and mixed color palettes can be a perfect way to add whimy to even the most luxury-feeling weddings.

I see this in both elopements and what we call “micro” ceremonies- ceremonies with just 20-30 guests and a minimal bridal party.

There’s a certain warmth and authenticity captured in each frame that digital just can’t replicate. Opting for film not only delivers striking photos but also gives them a timeless quality, allowing couples to hold onto the raw beauty of their significant moments. Offering a roll of 35mm film with your wedding gallery is a fun, new thing I am getting into for the 2025 wedding season. Another way we as photographers can incorporate film into your gallery is through a few trendy film edits of the photos you already love from your gallery.

Other ways to achieve this style without breaking the bank is to opt for rectangular wood tables, ample glassware and the use of vignettes or seating areas throughout your reception venue for people to sit and enjoy conversation away from just the dinner table.
